Python Programming: Level 01

Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level programming language with dynamic semantics. Its high-level built in data structures, combined with dynamic typing and dynamic binding, make it very attractive for Rapid Application Development, as well as for use as a scripting or glue-language to connect existing components together.

By the end of the course, learners will be able to:

  • Comprehend Python language fundamentals, including basic syntax, variables, and types
  • Familiarize with a couple of IDEs like Jupyter Notebook
  • Provide information about Python objects and data structures such as lists, tuples, dictionaries, etc.
  • Break-down a final deliverable into different chunks and procedures like Boolean logic, control flow and loops
  • Provide a framework to manipulate and analyze data based on basic packages like Pandas and NumPy
  • Visualize real data with matplotlib’s plotting functions
