Setting up teams for technical excellence

Setting up teams for technical excellence is an exercise that helps fulfillment teams setup professional-grade decision science shops, by reviewing the teams' work ways and helping "incorporate industry best practices". This is done by running recurring audits and collaborating with fulfillment in "building repair plans". To accomplish this, we have created an exhaustive checklist that will help teams evaluate health of their fulfillment, across key components of technical excellence namely project management & hygiene, business understanding and solution design & implementation. The audit will conclude with a repair plan and a skills training & software requirement checklist, through which fulfillment teams can implement best practices recommended during the audit and ask for training sessions/software intrinsic to Mu Sigma. The measurement of an engagement’s performance as a part of audit & repair would be the improvement upon the original score, and not the original score alone. For leadership visibility and over watch, the audit & repair results and recommendations are broad casted to the ALs/AMs/SLHs of the audited group, BU Heads, FEE_Core DL, FEE Leads (Sridhar and Swati) and Zubin. We will also have a re-audit in a month's time to check whether the practices are being adhered to
