This course will enable learners to understand the key concepts of advanced regressions technique (LARS, MARS, etc.) which overcome the shortcomings of conventional regression techniques.

  • Familiar with advanced regression techniques like Principal Components Regression (PCR), Partial Least Squares Regression (PLS), MARS (Multivariate Adaptive Regression Spline), LARS (Least Angle Regression Spline)
  • Knowing the areas of application of each technique and its advantages and disadvantages compared to conventional techniques for regression analysis
